How tuition works
What sets tuition and how it is paid, with no surprises.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on your child's age, the schedule you choose and the days a week. We give you the figures in writing at the tour, for the schedule you pick. Pudding is a nonprofit, and we explain every line in writing.

Days a week
Registration
Registration is paid once and opens your child's enrollment file. At the tour we tell you what it is for and when it is due, in writing.
Holding a place
To hold a place, families sign the enrollment agreement and pay the registration. If your child's room is full, we put your family on the waitlist and call whoever has waited longest first.
Billing
Tuition is paid monthly, at the start of the month, and you get a written statement each time. If a payment is going to be late, tell us first and we will talk it through.
Ask us whether state child care assistance is open this month. We sit down with you, in Spanish or English, and go through the steps. Families who use assistance and families who pay their own way share the same rooms and the same teachers.
Siblings
If you have more than one child with us, ask at the tour how that is handled. We put it in writing with the rest of the figures.
Withdrawing
We ask for two weeks' notice in writing before your child leaves the program. The remaining weeks are paid as usual.
